ULTIMATE GUIDE TO TUBES BALI RESTAURANT & BAR

INSIDE: Everything you need to know about Tubes Bali.

Ride the BIG Wave at TUBES Bali Restaurant!

I first stood on that board as an 18 year old, when Tubes was a nightclub.

25 years later, Ned took his turn.

The nightclub is now a family-friendly restaurant in Kuta, with plenty to keep the kids entertained.

Check it out below.

Surf that Wave at Tubes Bali!

There’s indoor and outdoor seating.

Indoor seating is under fans.

The al fresco dining area has tables and a large bar area under a thatched roof with bamboo styling, with twinkly lights creating a lovely atmosphere.

There’s a kids play area, pool tables, darts, and people watching, if you dare.

It’s the perfect place for big groups of family and friends to eat.

Tubes Restaurant Bali

The food is super cheap, but good, but the presentation of the meals is more pub grub than fancy restaurant.

The breakfast menu includes:

  • toasted sandwiches
  • create your own jaffles
  • BLTs, and
  • muesli.

Tubes Menu

Tubes menu has a variety of Indonesian and Western dishes including:

  • burgers and chips
  • seafood
  • pasta
  • burritos
  • steaks
  • pizza
  • tacos, and
  • curries.

The food comes in large servings – buy one meal for the kids to share.

We recommend the Nasi Goreng, the Nasi Campur, and don’t leave without eating the apple crumble.

Thirsty mums and dads will love the cold beer, and the $5 cocktails.

Where is Tubes in Kuta?

It’s a relaxed vibe where you don’t have to worry about the kids being too noisy or moving around.

It’s NOT fine dining, and kids are more than welcome.

The best time for families is during the day for breakfast or lunch, or an early dinner as it fills up with beer-swilling backpackers later on.

Down the middle of Poppies 2, you can’t miss Tubes Bali.

The gigantic fibreglass wave at the front entrance catches your eye from the street.

Just about every kid, big AND small, wants a go at standing on that board.

It doesn’t matter that it’s a bit cheesy to do so.

It’s Bali, and anything goes here.

Tubes Bar and Restaurant Bali

The atmosphere is old school Bali surfer vibe.

There’s a big screen with surf movies playing day and night, plus there’s old photos and surfing memorabilia to browse.

Tubes Bali is off-street and away from the honking of motorbikes and scooters on Poppies II.

It’s surprisingly quiet!

Staff are friendly and helpful, and happy to engage with the kids.

There’s music too.

Facilities at Tubes Bar Bali

  • Tubes Bali has Free WIFI!
  • Buy a TUBES Bali t-shirt as a souvenir of your time on this island.

Warning: Beware the Menu Boards when you walk in.

There’s a couple of drink names that are rude and definitely NOT kid-friendly.

Choose a table wisely so these are out of sight.

Toadstool Rating: Tubes Restaurant Kuta

One of the best kuta restaurants for kids who are loud, and love to make noise!
