Tallebudgera Surf Club Playground
The playground has equipment for all.
Ronnie Long Park
The Playground for Big Kids on the right features a Surf Life Saving Lookout Fort with:
- duo slides
- ramps for accessibility
- climbing ladders
Rock climbing wall
Chain ladder
Spiral ladder
- Spiral climber
- Fireman’s pole
Balancing platforms
There’s an underground cubby area on the ground floor, with balancing pods, and counting games.

Ronnie Long Park Playground for Toddlers
The Playground for Toddlers on the left of the pathway to Tallebudgera beach features:
- Toddler fort with slide
- Whale Rocker
An “Airplane” to fly
Rock Climbing wall
A smaller version of the boulder wall for younger kids.
Tallebudgera Surf Club Menu
Right next door, the club is open for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 10.30am, and lunch and dinner every day.
Eat steak, or a burger, or fish, or vego options.
Check out the daily specials at the bistro.
Plus, for the kids, there’s a dedicated children’s menu, with all meals under $10.
Tallebudgera Surf Club Cafe
The Tallebudgera Surf Life Saving club cafe is open from 10am till late everyday.
Sit on the back deck outdoor seating, with views to die for, while you snack on your choice of treat from a large selection of cakes and desserts, or savoury snacks and food too.
Club Talle Coffee Kiosk
Hot tip: Grab a quality espresso coffee, chai, tea or hot chocolate from the kiosk window to enjoy while you watch the kids.
(Look for the people milling about the back of Tally surf club to find it)
Beach-side Cafe is open every day from 6am – 11am
Tallebudgera Surf Club Dress Code
The dress code is smart casual. Clean, neat and tidy dress at all times.
The following are not permitted in the Club at any time:
- Bare feet
- Swimwear or training apparel
- Football shorts or jerseys
- Offensive t-shirts
- Overalls
- Torn, ripped or untidy tracksuits or joggers
- Dirty, untidy, faded or frayed clothing
The following articles of clothing are not permitted in the Club after 5:30pm
- Rubber thongs
- Men’s singlets
HOT TIP: Tallebudgera Creek Beach is WAVE FREE
Tallebudgera Beach is in front of the surf club, but if you prefer a wave-free beach swim, walk around the headland to Tallebudgera Creek Beach.
It is our FAVOURITE Gold Coast beach of all time, and we’ve been coming here for 30 years.

How to get to Tallebudgera Surf Club
By Bus: Surfside Buses run along the Gold Coast highway all day long. Disembark at Recreation Centre.
By Car:
- Tallebudgera Surf Club can be accessed from the Gold Coast Highway.
- Cross the Tallebudgera Creek bridge going south from Burleigh Heads, and turn left at the lights (the second entrance to the Tallebudgera Recreation Centre).
