No.1: The Hard Rock for Kids
The Hard Rock Hotel Bali holds regular weekly events for kids
Kids can join in fun and games around the pool with regular Kids Olympics events and games.
Plus, there’s kids clubs – see below for details.
Foam Party!
Be sure to book the kids in for the FOAM party too.
No.2: The Bali Hard Rock staff.
Every single person we met at Hard Rock Hotel went out of our way to help us and make our stay amazing.
Plus, the staff were always SUPER fun and super friendly.
No.3: The all-you-can-eat breakfast at Starz Diner.
What’s not to like about a buffet filled with:
- eggs and bacon
- nasi goreng
- a bunch of hot Indonesian vegetable dishes
- pastries
- sweets
- every kind of cereal
No.4: Giant mugs for coffee and tea
Sure beats those piddly little half cups you find in most hotels.
No.5: The Hard Rock Hotel Bali rooms
Our king size bed was SO good, I was seriously tempted to buy it and bring it home.

Find a Rock Spa amenity kit in room too!
No.6: The Rock Star treatments at the Rock spa!
Pop the kids downstairs at Kids Club, and retreat to this calming space for body indulgences.
It’s one of the best spas in Bali.
No.7: Hard Rock Hotel Bali Pool
But most importantly, the Bali Hard Rock Hotel swimming pool.
The main pool is luxury personified, one of our favourite hotel pools in the world.
The kids pool area is on the far side – out of the way so the kids can make all the noise.

The Hard Rock Bali Hotel Music Culture
The Hard Rock Hotel resort has 418 rooms and suites, all decorated with music-related ephemera from the 1950’s surf culture to the rocking 90’s grunge bands.
It’s also one of the biggest hotels in Kuta, Bali, within walking distance to the Kuta Square and Kuta Art market, Beachwalk Mall, and Discovery Mall.
Boom Box Recording Studio
If you love music, you can even jump in and record your very own hit single in the Boom Box recording studio, and hang out Centrestage.
Hard Rock Hotel Memorabilia Tour
Head straight to the front desk to book into a FREE tour of more than 500 displays of rock history from both local and world famous international artists and musicians.
The Hard Rock Kids Club
No.1: Roxity Kids Club
Onsite, you’ll find Roxity Kids Club (for kids 4 to 12 years)
The only downside is that they won’t take 3 year olds, or younger.
Kids club includes a lanyard, lunch and a goodie bag.
Book in for one drop-off day at IDR 200K net/pax (discounts for multiple days)
Open 9 am to 6 pm
Hot tip: Some hotel stay packages include kids club!
Hard Rock Hotel Bali Nanny
Luckily, for babies, toddlers and kids under 3, you CAN book a nanny onsite for a reasonable fee, who can take the kids to all the activities, or hang out in Tabu with them.
No.2: Tabu Kids Club
Tabu Teens Club is for the older kids 13 years and above.
They have:
- their own café
- a small movie cinema
- virtual gaming space
- table soccer
- mini ping pong
- books and mags to read, and
- a chill zone.
Welcome!
Families are welcome to come hang out here and use the facilities with the smaller kids too, as long as one adult or supervisor stays with them.
Dining at Hard Rock Kuta Bali
No.1: The Bali Hard Rock Cafe on Jl. Pantai Kuta Bali
The Bali Hard Rock cafe is located on the main road of Kuta, opposite Kuta Beach, on the beach side of the hotel complex.
The Hard Rock Cafe kids menu for kids under 10 has all the American diner favourites:
- Chicken tenders
- Mac and Cheese
- Buddy Jnr’s cheeseburger
But there’s also healthy options such as a chicken salad, or chicken breast with vegetables.
The bet is they’ll order the Cookies & Cream mini milkshake with oreos too!
The adults menu includes their Legendary Steak burgers, bbq wings, all American sliders, classic nachos, caesar salads, melted sandwiches, and baby back ribs!
Do stop by the Hard Rock Cafe Bali Shop on your way out. (Details below)
No.2: Jamie’s Italian restaurant
Just outside the complex, Jamie’s Italian Bali is one of our favourite places to eat with kids.
It’s casual dining at it’s best.
The food at Jamie Oliver kitchen is, not surprisingly, DELICIOUS.
Try the crispy chicken wings, the sticky miso chicken, Jamie’s Mie goreng, or the LASAGNE.
Their pizzas are some of the best you’ll find in Bali, so if the kids are desperate for ‘normal’ food, book a table.
And DO order dessert. You might need to visit three times to try them all.

No.3: Starz Diner
This is where head to enjoy either a breakfast or dinner buffet.
The buffet choices include both Indonesian and western dishes – there’s something for everyone.
No.4: More Places to eat at Hard Rock Hotel
Splash Bistro
Order food direct to your poolside bungalow or your lounger.
Breakfast is served from 6am to 10.30am with all your favourites.
Or later in the day when things warm up, try Stone Baked Pizzas, or share plates including nachos, trio of dips, popcorn chicken, potato bites, chips or chicken wings.
The Shack
By the pool, for cocktails
(Try the Oreo mocktail too!)
Centrestage
Lobby bar with bar snacks and live music.
Room Service
If the kids are shattered, the order in service is the most family friendly option.
The Hard Rock Bali Shop
The Rock Shop is open from 8am to 11pm.
The Hard Rock Store is located along Jalan Pantai Kuta next to the Hard Rock Cafe.
(There’s also a smaller gift shop inside the hotel foyer)

Things to do in Kuta with kids
Kuta Beach is just across the road from the Hard Rock Cafe entrance.
Join in a Baby Turtle release at the Kuta Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center about 150 metres south on the beach.
Waterbom Bali water park is 10 minutes walk away, opposite Discovery Mall shopping centre and near Pizza Hut.
Jalan Kuta Art Market is close to Jamies Italian restaurant, and Kuta Square shopping.
