Justins Park Playground Australia
The Gold Coast city has a couple of outstanding playgrounds.
While this is NOT one of them when it comes to equipment or fun theming, Justins Park in Burleigh heads trumps the rest because of it’s position and VIEW!
Right in front of one of the Gold Coast’s best family friendly beaches, and just over the road from the spot where you can buy the best pizza on the Gold Coast, there’s a lot going for this place after all.
Play Equipment at Justins Park The Esplanade Burleigh Heads
The big hit of this park is the modern version of the old Egg Spinner.
You know the one!
That nausea-inducing spinning thing that kids love.
Yes, this blue bowl-shaped one is a favourite.
There was just one quick second to take a picture of Jack on it alone!
Swings & Fort
There’s also a couple of swings, and a climbing fort complete with:
- slide
- monkey bars and
- balance beam.
It’s a bit uninspired but kids won’t care, which is why it’s a top spot for a picnic.
There’s plenty of grass and LOTS of picnic tables, and free BBQs too.

While you are here, take a dip at Burleigh Beach, we’d vote this the Gold Coast’s most popular family beach with waves.
There’s full-time lifeguards, and right under the Surf Club is a cafe that sells that Sunday (or anyday) favourite of ‘Bacon & Eggs’ and toasties, all reasonably priced.
Coffee lovers, DO NOT MISS Nook Expresso– the 2015 winner of best ‘hole in the wall’ coffee joint.
It’s on the road side of the Oskars building, about 100 metres south of the Surf Club.
